The Trinity River Wind Festival brings together a unique set of elements. The location is in the Dallas Floodway near the Trinity River providing festival goers close access to this natural resource. The free festival is full of wind-driven recreational fun for people of all ages. It features simple pleasures such as kite flying, train rides, animal exhibits, and good food. It's all about Wings, Wind and Kites.

- Team TKO Sport Kite Flyers with Troy Gunn; Stunt Kite Flyers
- Gayle Woodul and Christian Baden-Powell Show Kites, Go Big or Go Home
- Dallas Area Kite Flyers Organization (DAKO)
- North Texas Hang/Paragliding Association
- City of Dallas Kite Giveaway (while supplies last)
- Sprint Booth (Phone recycling and Giveaways)
- Paper Airplane Making
- Japanese Kite Making Booth
- Trinity Draw n' Go

Plus, Trinity River Audubon Center (homing pigeons), Blackland Prairie Raptors, and Lee Fairchild International Champion Disc Dogs. It's free, it's fun and open to everyone.
