Some of the most gorgeous melodies ever composed get Diana Sheehan’s magical touch when she performs “The Jerome Kern Songbook” as part of the Snyder Family Series of Sammons Cabaret. Diana’s show, which won “Best of Loop” at this year’s Out Of The Loop Fringe Festival, features treasures like “Smoke Gets In Your Eyes” and “The Way You Look Tonight.”

The Snyder Family Series of Sammons Cabaret is held in Kurth Hall, located on the fourth floor of the Sammons Center for the Arts, 3630 Harry Hines at Oak Lawn. Admission is regular $45 and $40 for Sammons members. Admission includes complimentary beverages, light appetizers, and valet parking.

Doors to Kurth Hall open at 7:30 p.m.; performances begin approximately at 8:00 p.m. Each performance features two performance sets of about 40 minutes each with an intermission between. Dress is casual; some people come in business attire, but many wear dressy casual or after five attire.
