Free Movie Screening: Ben-Hur at Plaza Theatre
Free movies are back at the Plaza Theatre with the Charlton Heston classic “Ben-Hur.” A Palestinian Jew, forced into slavery, seeks revenge against the friend-turned-rival who put him in the galleys. Though released in 1959, “Ben-Hur” remains a cinematic marvel, and was selected for preservation in the National Film Registry of the Library of Congress for being a "culturally, historically, or aesthetically significant" motion picture. Tickets: admission is free and open to the public.
