The Islamic Art Revival Series (IARS) and Irving Arts Center invites you to join us for a talk by renowned architect Jason Moriyama. Mr. Moriyama will present on the topic of “Interfaith Spaces: towards an architecture of understanding.”

A reception and brief performance by The Ismaili Muslim Youth Choir of Dallas (IMYC-Dallas) will follow the talk. Comprised of youth ages 14-25, IMYC-Dallas is led and directed by various conductors who serve in a voluntary capacity under the Aga Khan Council for the Central United States, which is the social governance body of the Ismaili Muslim community. The performance which will last approximately ten minutes is being conducted by Dr. Tina Mohammad and will be a collaboration with ILM ISHK (Knowledge Love) an art installation by Shafaq Ahmad.

The event is being held in conjunction with the 5th Annual Juried Exhibition of Contemporary Islamic Art (a program of the Texas Muslim Women’s Foundation).
