Texas Veggie Fair at Reverchon Park

This celebration of vegetarian cuisine features food for sale from restaurants, food trucks and other purveyors. There will also be chef demonstrations, speakers, a children’s area, live music, yoga, games and a beer garden.
This year's event is expected to welcome thousands of guests and supporters, including Music Stage sponsor Blue Circle Media. Other partners and sponsors include Mercy For Animals, Breeze Energy, Best Thai Signature, Nessel Development, Reverie Bakeshop, and Trinity Hall providing the local beer garden.
New this year is the addition of chefs and speakers to present demos to Spanish-speaking attendees. Eddie Garza, food and nutrition manager with The Humane Society of the United States, will talk about his journey from an unhealthy 300 pound man to a healthy 150 pound vegetarian and will demonstrate delicious plant-based Mexican recipes from his new book, ¡Salud! Vegan Mexican Cookbook. Joining Garza is chef and restaurateur Miguel Bautista, with plant-based recipes from Vegan Planet, his critically acclaimed restaurant in Cancun, Mexico.
