Meat Fight 1K

The Meat Fight 1K is a true Texas triathlon: Beer, BBQ and Bourbon. Participants consume all the beer, BBQ and other food and drink that makes sense between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. The challenge: Eat at 12 of the 20 vendor stations on the course to earn a finisher medal and the chance to win 2 tickets to the Meat Fight barbecue competition in November. The Ticket's Mike Sirois, Cash and Sean Bass will be on hand to kick off the race.

Food stations include corn dogs from Luscher’s; massive amounts of barbecued meats from Local Yocal, Slow Bone, Lockhart Smokehouse, Heim BBQ, Smoken S Barbecue, One90 BBQ; popsicles from Pop Star; cold brew from Noble Coyote Coffee Roasters; beer from TUPPS and Four Corners Brewery; bourbon from Buffalo Trace, and more.

Great food and fun and it all benefits a great cause: the National Multiple Sclerosis Society and Meat Fight's Meat Bike Program, which gives bikes to people who have MS.
