Free festival commemorates and reenacts the filming of the bank robbery scene in the 1967 Bonnie and Clyde movie starring Faye Dunaway and Warren Beatty. The scene was shot at the historic bank building on the town square. The Pilot Point area, north of Denton, was a known hang-out of the real-life Depression-era outlaw couple and the Barrow Gang.

Old-timey, family fun includes 2 reenactments, Model A and Classic Car Show, the Chain Gang Walk, Peanut Thrashing demo, Soap Box Challenge, pie-eating contest, plus live music and entertainment throughout the day. Children can have fun in the Kids Zone and street vendors will have food and drink available to purchase.

The day includes a concert by Brave Combo, 7:30-9 p.m.
