Grand Prairie celebrates the annual migration of the monarch butterfly from North America to Central Mexico. This free event will include 3 Monarch butterfly releases at noon, 2 & 4 p.m.; a Kids Zone with bounce houses, rock climbing and children crafts; arts & crafts vendors; food; and, back by popular demand, music by four-time Grammy nominee Trout Fishing in America.

Trout Fishing in America is an eclectic folk/rock band best known for family music and kids’ songs. Songs like “My Hair Had a Party Last Night,” “18 Wheels on a Big Rig,” and “When I Was a Dinosaur” have earned them a place in the hearts of kids and parents everywhere.

Remote parking is available at Dubiski High School with shuttle service to and from the event.
