Another Lubbock-born Texas music legend, Delbert McClinton has long made his home in Fort Worth where he played blues clubs in the '50s and '60s blowing his harp behind the likes of Bobby "Blue" Bland and Jimmy Reed. McClinton is also credited with giving a young John Lennon a backstage harmonica lesson. Maybe he'll talk about that when he take the stage at Strauss Square.

Delbert McClinton is bringing a taste of his annual Sandy Beaches Cruise to Strauss Square for a party under the stars. Dubbed "Delbert’s Land Cruise," this tour stop is a showcase of the best of the Sandy Beaches Cruise and features performances from the Quebe Sisters, Marcia Ball and Teresa James.

Lawn seating ticket holders may bring blankets and low back chairs (less that 4 inch rise). No coolers, pets or umbrellas allowed. Concessions will be available for purchase.
