Hold. Up. There's going to be a lady Scrooge this year? I've never seen a production from DTC that I didn't like. Everything from the phenomenal acting to the elaborate stage design impresses and thrills me throughout the year. But, admittedly, I've seen the company's 'A Christmas Carol' before. What could they possibly do to keep the classic story engaging and interesting? Well, this is a great start. Break a leg, Sally.

Dallas Theater Center’s hit production of the holiday classic A Christmas Carol returns to the Wyly Theatre. Steven Michael Walters directs DTC’s adaption of the tale that follows a miserly old man on a magical journey of hope and redemption. Sally Nystuen Vahle will be DTC’s first woman to play Ebenezer Scrooge in the classic tale.

A Christmas Carol begins previews on Nov. 23, with a Pay-What-You-Can performance and runs through Dec. 28. Appropriate for families. Recommended for ages 8 and above. A Christmas Carol will be performed in one act with no intermission. The approximate run time is 90 minutes.
