In honor of Father’s Day, Mi Dia From Scratch Plano will be introducing a pairing menu featuring fresh and vibrant food and margarita pairings hand-selected by Chef Gabriel DeLeon.
The pairing menu will include three entrée options highlighted by expertly crafted margaritas. Each pairing will pay homage to the different milestones of DeLeon’s culinary career, influenced by Mexico City, Santa Fe and Tex-Mex cuisines. Reservations are strongly recommended.
SANTA FE
New Mexico Tampiqueña: Skirt steak, blue corn tortillas, cheese and onion stacked enchiladas, New Mexico red and green chile sauces and guacamole
The Windsor: Casa Noble Anejo, Cointreau, lemon juice and agave nectar
TEX-MEX
Chipotle Ribs: Braised baby back pork ribs with a flavorful chipotle rub
Capital 3G: Tres Generaciones Anejo, Grand Marnier, lemon juice and agave nectar
MEXICO
Cochinita Pibil: Pork shank rubbed with achiote, wrapped in banana leaf and roasted
The Godfather: El Mayor Anejo, Grand Marnier, lemon juice and agave nectar
Although the pairing menu will be taking place, the full menu will be available on Father’s Day.
