Go Oak Cliff's annual Bastille on Bishop is a family-friendly festival celebrating the French holiday. Enjoy French wine, food, music, a market, and a pétanque court in the middle of Bishop Ave. Costumes and themed clothing are encouraged. Think stripes and berets.

The event is free to attend. For those who want to drink wine, you must pre-register. The $25 fee includes a souvenir wine glass and two tokens that can be redeemed for a pour of wine or food. Additional refills of wine can be purchased on site for $6. All wine sold at the festival is sold in the souvenir glass, which must be purchased in advance and will sell out. There will be additional food and drink for sale, and all items are in the $6 range.

New this year: The Bastille Day Dallas festival continues Friday, July 15, on Flora St. in the Dallas Arts District. Go here for details about the Flora St. event.
