The Dallas Symphony Association and UT Southwestern Medical Center announce the second edition of Music and the Brain as part of the Nancy A. Nasher and David J. Haemisegger Family SOLUNA International Music & Arts Festival. The theme of the 2016 Music and the Brain event is “The Healing Power of Music.” Each of the four guest speakers will present a unique session on creativity and the healing power of music and will explore the emerging science behind music and the human brain. The morning will also include live piano and vocal performances as a complement to the conversations.
