Deon Cole may seem like a sudden star, but he's been working his comedy magic for years. He's featured in ABC "black-ish" as the strange friend and co-worker of lead character Dre, played by Anthony Anderson. His co-stars include Wanda Sykes, Laurence Fishburne, Tracee Ellis Ross, Jenifer Lewis and a quartet of child actors not to be sneezed at. There's a reason Cole can hold his own: He sharpened his pen as a member of the writing staff for Conan O'Brien's late-night talk shows. And now it's a mighty sword: Catch him now on TBS' "Angie Tribeca" and later in the third installment of the "Barbershop" franchise: "The Next Cut" and in his own Comedy Central special.

Deon Cole is originally from the south side of Chicago. Deon’s charismatic personality and original style make him one of the most popular performers in the comedy scene today. As a standup, he has been featured on The Tonight Show with Conan O’Brien, Comedy Central: John Oliver’s New York Stand-Up Show, Laffapalooza, and Mash Ups along with his own 1 / 2 Hour Special. Deon is also an actor, having appeared in MTV’s Short Circuitz and Wild N’ Out with Nick Cannon, as well as Barbershop 1and 2. Most recently, Deon was featured in FX’s The League.
