All grown up at age 40, Luke Bryan is trying to downplay his goofball frat-boy image – but only to a point. The Georgia-raised bro-country singer explores mellower, more serious territory on Kill the Lights, his fifth and latest album. Yet he also starts the album off with “Kick the Dust Up,” a hip-hop-influenced stomper with the battle cry “We turn this cornfield into a party!” He’ll play that tune Saturday night alongside boisterous older hits like “Country Girl (Shake It For Me)” and “This Is How We Roll,” his hit collaboration with Florida Georgia Line. While the Florida Georgia boys aren’t touring with Bryan, he is bringing along Little Big Town and dueting with Karen Fairchild on “Home Alone Tonight,” a seriocomic Lights track about getting drunk, getting jiggy with a stranger, and sending a picture of the encounter to your ex. Chris Stapleton and Dustin Lynch are also on the bill.
