More than 30 teams of barbecue specialists will take over Kidd Springs Park for this two-day festival with live bands, food and drink for sale and barbecue sampling. The event is hosted by Go Oak Cliff and benefits KNON Community Radio and James S. Hogg Elementary.
Friday, Nov. 17: Grill masters light their fires. Spectators are welcome, and there will be food and drink for sale and live music. Taste the resulting 'cue Nov. 12 from 1 to 3 p.m. with the purchase of a wristband for $20, which also includes the chance to vote for a favorite.
