If you missed Oktoberfest in Addison last week, don't worry. You can celebrate while drinking beer and eat German food this weekend in Fort Worth. Best part is, if you buy your tickets online before the 23rd, you'll receive a free commemorative stein!

Enjoy a three-day authentic Oktoberfest celebration with a little bit of Texas flavor and fun thrown in. Presented by Spaten Brewery of Munich, the festival offers German food, music, dancing, Oktoberfest games, plus indoor and outdoor biergartens serving Spaten and other fall and Oktoberfest craft beers from around the country.

The festival kicks off Thursday, Sept. 24, with the ceremonial tapping of the kegs. The fun continues on Friday and Saturday.

Entertainment includes traditional German music from Brave Combo, Alpenmusikanten, Walburg Boys, the Alpine Village Band and more. An Oktoberfest 5k and 1k run as well as 15-mile bike ride are scheduled on Saturday morning.

Festival foods such as bratwursts, pretzels, crepes and roasted nuts will be on the menu.

Admission:
Thur - $3 (advance) / $5 (at the gate)
Fri or Sat - $7.50 / $10
Festival Pass - $12 / $15
Advance ticket buyers will receive a free commemorative stein. Online sales end on Sept. 23 at midnight.

Children 11 and younger are free when accompanied by paying adult. Admission includes a free, commemorative beer stein.
