This new museum celebrates the history and culture of Texas music. For the grand opening, grab bites from the Neon Armadillo as you take in performances in the Texas Music Garden from performers including Holly Tucker from the 2013 season of The Voice, the Gustavo Rodriguez Band, Bobby Patterson, Jamie Richards and more.
The museum that celebrates the rich history and culture of Texas music will open its doors to the public in an all-day event in its brand new location. Located in the Heritage Crossing district of downtown Irving, the museum houses memorabilia such as instruments, on-stage costumes and awards from a who's who of Texas music makers, including Buddy Holly, Janis Joplin, Willie Nelson and Beyonce Knowles. The Texas music garden will host live performances.
Admission includes live performances by a variety of Texas artists, self-guided tours of the museum. Beverages and good eats will be available for purchase.
