Arts All Night at Patterson-Appleton Center for the Visual Arts
Ann Pinson Recommends
This celebration brings together a lot of things that are great about the Denton arts scene. What exactly? Well, spring festival juggernaut Brave Combo for one. Check out some cool artwork during flashlight tours of the gallery and make your own masterpiece during art sessions. And you can see some of the best documentaries that were featured at this year's Thin Line Fest.
Paul Slavens of KXT and Reid Robinson of KNON host an all-night arts event benefiting the Greater Denton Arts Council. The doors of the Patterson-Appleton Center for the Visual Arts will be open all night for this community party featuring family activities, artist demos, film screenings, flashlight tours, karaoke, after hours DJs, and performances by artists including Brave Combo, Vintage Jazz Society, Lily Taylor, and many others.
Popular food trucks Crepetopia and Fire in the Hole Pizzas will be on site with meals to purchase. There will also be Sunrise Yoga and a Breakfast Bash with complimentary coffee from Jupiter House and treats from Royals Bagels.
Admission is free but a suggested minimum donation of $10 will go toward renovations for the Campus Theatre and the Patterson-Appleton Center for the Visual Arts.
