This annual festival in Main Street Garden will include 4,000 pounds of crawfish served with corn and potatoes, plus beer and other food and drinks to purchase. The family- and pet-friendly event will also have live music, armadillo racing, a beard contest, a dog obstacle course, and a children’s activities area.

The third annual Mudbug Bash at Main Street Garden in downtown Dallas, sponsored by 105.3 The Fan, 100.3 Jack FM and Downtown Dallas, will be held March 28 from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m.

The family- and pet-friendly festival is a Creole-flavored celebration of spring. The event features 4,000 pounds of crawfish with a side order of live music, a kids’ zone, armadillo racing, a bayou beard contest and more. Featured entertainers include Rebirth Brass Band, Texas Cotton Kings, Juke and more.

General admission is $15 online, $20 at the gate. Admission including two pounds of crawfish, corn and potatoes is $25 in advance, $30 at the gate. Admission with four pounds of crawfish with corn and potatoes is $42 in advance, $47 at the gate. If additional crawfish is available, it may be purchased on site at market price. Other food and drink options will be available as well.

Attendees are encouraged to ride DART to the St. Paul Station. Cash parking is available at the Elm Street Garage at Harwood and Main.
