Enjoy the sights and sounds of Plains Indian Dancers and the Mitotiliztli Yaoyollohtli Aztec Dancers with the vibrant beat and songs of southern drum group, Bear Claw Singers. Our newest entertainment group, the Chikashsha Hithla Dancers bringing stomp dance traditions from one of the Five Civilized Tribes, the Chickasaw Nation.
Hear stories from long ago, learn how a Gorget, a beautiful shell necklace, is made; learn to finger weave while you eat Indian Tacos and Indian Fry bread from two of the best cooking groups in North Texas. Children and families will enjoy the craft skills of dream catchers, beadwork, talking sticks and more.
The Cultural Path features a unique educational interactive opportunity to learn about Native American Indian medicine practices with plants and food.
