Home By Hovercraft is a theatrical and classically-influenced rock/folk band led by the husband-and-wife team of Seth Magill (vocals/tuba) and Shawn Magill (piano/vocals). Rounded out by Seth’s sister Abbey Magill (step dance), Max Hartman (drums) and Johnny Sequenzia (mandolin/harmonica), their sound recalls acts as diverse as The National, Beirut and Tilly and The Wall. “In terms of familiar success, Home by Hovercraft lead vocalist Seth Magill emits a distinctly memorable voice, much like a Matt Berninger (The National). The husband and wife duo have a gem with “Zoo Lion”.” – Music Under Fire

Born in 2012, Low Dark Hills are former members of the New Frontiers, along with their talented friends, consisting of Nathan Pettijohn on vocals and guitar, Ryan Henry, John Solis, Guy Turner, and Ryan Pool. Low Dark Hills’ new single, “414,” has been spinning on KXT, while eager fans await their first EP, due out Sept 2 of this year. “Pettijohn’s vocal style is hauntingly simple, conveying big emotions with small, poignant strokes in Low Dark Hills’ sound.” (-Hunter Duesing, Deep Dallas Music)
