Denton Fourth of July Jubilee and Yankee Doodle Parade at

Celebrate the Fourth of July in Denton with numerous festivities, including the annual parade, children's carnival and craft show, food, and live entertainment. Prior to the Jubilee, participate in the Liberty 5K and 1 Mile Run/Walk. After the Jubilee, enjoy $1 admission to the Civic Center Pool from noon to 6 p.m.
7:30 a.m. - Liberty Run begins at North Lakes Recreation Center.
9 a.m. - Yankee Doodle Parade begins on the Square. A flag ceremony begins when the parade arrives at City Hall.
9:30 a.m. - Lucky Horseshoe Tournament; live entertainment begins in Quakertown Park.
10 a.m. - FREE children's carnival begins and lasts until noon in the Civic Center.
11 a.m. - Entries for the Children's Arts & Crafts Show are displayed until noon in the Civic Center.
11 a.m. - Old-fashioned family fun events in Quakertown Park.
11 a.m. - $3 admission to Senior Center luncheon with music by the Young at Heart band
Noon - $1 admission at Civic Center Pool from noon until 6 p.m.
