An Evening With Neil Young (Solo and Acoustic) at Meyerson Symphony Center
Hunter Hauk Recommends
After thrilling a crowd on the Meyerson Symphony Center’s stage in 2010, legendary folk-rock hero Neil Young is coming back to the elegant hall for a two-night acoustic stand. And if reviews of recent similar dates suggest anything, it’s that Young will be giving fans a solid sampling of his ’70s material — especially tunes from Harvest and After the Gold Rush. For anyone raised on “Old Man,” “Southern Man” and “Heart of Gold,” that’s a blessing. But it would be hard to complain about any set list from an artist whose output has been so consistent and varied over the years. We’re just excited to see how many different instruments he brings onstage.
