File this under Things That Could Only Happen in Texas: A student at Texas State University has become Internet famous for riding a pink Barbie Jeep around campus.
Why is she doing this? Because "riding a bike around campus sucks. Like really sucks," Tara Monroe told MySA.com.
Monroe, who's 20 and a junior at Texas State, could be driving her car. But according to MySA.com her license was suspended after she refused a breathalyzer test following a concert (Waka Flocka Flame, if you're curious). She was arrested on a DWI charge, and after that her father took away her car and gave her a bike.
Not being into the cycling life, she searched Craigslist and found her new ride -- which she named Charlene, after the woman from whom she bought it -- and hit the road, heading toward Internet fame at the speed of a 12-volt battery.
