Micah Parsons ‘utterly disgusted’ by Eagles’ draft pick; ‘not mad’ at Cowboys’ selection

Parsons said the Eagles were “lucky” to draft Toledo cornerback Quinyon Mitchell.

Micah Parsons didn’t appear to be pleased after the first round of the NFL draft on Thursday.

The Dallas Cowboys star said he was “utterly disgusted on how lucky the Philadelphia Eagles are” for drafting Toledo cornerback Quinyon Mitchell.

“I do not know how he fell that far,” Parsons said during Bleacher Report’s draft livestream. “I thought he was top 15, top 12 talent and he just fell right into their laps.”

“I’m not mad at the pick. I think Guyton was, like, my fourth guy,” Parsons said. “I think this is a productive pick. Obviously, losing out on Tyron Smith, we need more depth out there at left tackle.”

Parsons, after initially not seeming enthused about the pick, later clarified his reaction.

“Lol my reaction was based off the 10 push ups I had to do! I picked wrong!” Parsons said in a post on X, formerly known as Twitter. “Couldn’t be more happy to have tyler on the team!”
