Texas Rangers boast some of the cheapest beer in baseball

Attending a baseball game at Globe Life Park in Arlington has never been a low-cost affair. First there's the price of a ticket and parking. Then, duh, you have to try the crazy bacon-flavored cotton candy or maybe a Boomstick. God forbid you want to buy merch.

But before you go rethinking those season tickets, know there is one place Texas Rangers fans save money -- the bar.

According to a new study by Team Marketing Report, the Rangers sell the third cheapest draft beer in the MLB. Not only that, but the serving size is bigger than many teams -- 16 ounces for $5.

The average cost of a beer across the league dropped slightly to $5.98 for the 2015 season, according to the study. But the poor folks in Boston, Chicago and Philly will still be shelling out $7.75 for one pour. Buzz kill much?

Team Marketing Report calculated the price based on cheapest beers at each stadium for the 2015 season, so the craft options available at Globe Life Park will likely cost more than that. But considering the Rangers' ticket price is $23.64 compared to a league average of $28.94, you'll have a few extra bucks to spend on the good stuff.
