Sigh. Sandra's doing great02:16 PM CDT on Monday, March 19, 2007Promise it won't happen often, but here's a gushingly positive, family-hour lowdown on a celebrity, in this case Sandra Bullock, who hasn't exactly lit up the 21st century career-wise. But never mind that; she stars in Premonition, which opens Friday.
FILE 2006/The Associated Press Unlike some celebs, Sandra Bullock and husband Jesse James are enjoying a good life. She's the cover for this week's People and expounds on the delights of her ready-made brood with "motorcycle tycoon" Jesse James, whom she married almost a whole two years ago. "I have children, amazing children," she says about hubby's three kids. "My love and my want for their future and their happiness, for their homework to be done and for them to know how smart and beautiful they are is no less than if I'd had a child on my own." (Diabetics are warned to skip the next saccharine paragraph.) She and Mr. James, founder of West Coast Choppers, live not far from where he grew up in working-class Long Beach, Calif., in an unassuming beachfront home where four beloved pooches, some of them disabled canines from a local shelter, scamper happily about. Their home is also close to that of one of his ex-wives, Karla. He was also married to Janine Lindemulder, the porn star.
