Woody Harrelson sued in fracas10:14 AM CDT on Tuesday, March 20, 2007The authorities may have let it slide, but a paparazzo who says he was on the receiving end of a Woody Harrelson smackdown last year is looking for a little payback, Eonline says. TMZ photographer Josh Levine sued Harrelson for $2.5 million Monday, maintaining that the Natural Born Killers star assaulted him last June as he shot footage of him leaving the Hollywood club Element. Footage posted on TMZ shows Levine following Harrelson and trying to provoke him with shouts. The photog alleges that the actor put his hands around his neck and threatened him, shoved the camera and broke equipment, Eonline says. However, the Los Angeles district attorney's office opted not to press felony charges.
Uma breaks off 3-year romance
LOS ANGELES — Actress Uma Thurman and hotelier Andre Balazs have split up. Thurman’s New York-based publicist Robert Garlock confirmed Monday that the couple, together on and off for three years, are no longer an item. Thurman, an Oscar-nominated actress who starred in Pulp Fiction and two Kill Bill movies, was once married to actors Gary Oldman and Ethan Hawke. She has two children with Hawke.
Anna Nicole judge cited for pot
HOLLYWOOD, Fla. — A judge who had a secondary role in the recent Anna Nicole Smith proceedings was charged with smoking marijuana in a city park, police said Monday. Lawrence Korda was smoking marijuana while sitting under a tree Sunday, police said. The judge was not arrested. He was given a misdemeanor citation to appear in court. The fight over control of the star's body began in Korda’s courtroom. It ended up being heard by Circuit Judge Larry Seidlin, who carved his own slice of celebrity from the televised hearings with his relentless one-liners and blubbering announcement of his decision.
Dunst beaming over Razorlight's frontman It appears Kirsten Dunst is taking a leaf out of Gwyneth Paltrow's book. The whisperings are that Dunst has bagged herself a British rock star, Ananova.com says.
It's the rather gorgeous Johnny Borrell -- Razorlight's skinny jean-clad frontman. "Kirsten has fallen head over heels for Johnny. She met the band last week and immediately hit it off with him," a source told London's Sun. "They have been on the phone ever since and getting on like a house on fire. She flew all the way from LA to be in Texas with Johnny. It's the real deal -- they're a proper item." The two reportedly were seen together at the SXSW music fest in Austin, but the two camps haven't confirmed a romance.
