Renée's '90210' date

When things don't work out, you need to pick yourself up, brush yourself off and get straight back in the game. And it appears Renée Zellweger 's doing just that. A year after annulling her brief marriage to Kenny Chesney, she's been spotted with former Beverly Hills 90210 teen idol Luke Perry.

The two were seen having an intimate dinner together in Los Angeles. According to the New York Post's source: "They were definitely on a date. He was looking very grungy – baggy jeans, lumberjack flannel shirt and baseball cap. She had on a white button-down shirt, glasses and striped pants."

Dangerous gifting

Marilyn Manson's new friend gave him a live scorpion in a cage for his birthday, People reports. The 38-year-old rocker has been seen with Thirteen star Evan Rachel Wood, 19. He recently separated from wife Dita Von Teese, 34, who filed for divorce last month.

Behind on her viewing

Diana Ross is late to the party on Dreamgirls. The singer told Late Show host David Letterman this week that she hasn't had time to see the hit film, which is loosely based on her life as a Motown starlet. Ms. Ross said she didn't see the musical version of Dreamgirls, either.

When Mr. Letterman asked her whether she was curious about the film, she joked: "Yes, I've heard a lot about it. I'm going to see it with my lawyers."Contributors: Ananova.com, People.com, news services THIS WEEK IN FABULOSITY: 1969: Jethro Tull plays its first U.S. concert, in New York City, opening for Led Zeppelin. 1976: Laverne & Shirley, starring Penny Marshall and Cindy Williams, premieres on ABC. 1979: The Dukes of Hazzard debuts on CBS. 1980: Paul McCartney is released from a Tokyo jail after a week.
