Everyone knows what happens if you give a pig a party.

She's going to ask for some balloons.

Then, she's going to invite her friends Mouse and Moose and Cat and Dog and ask to go to a street fair and want to go on bumper cars and ... and ...

What happens if you give a pig a 61-city national tour?

Dallas Children's Theater did just that with If You Give a Pig a Party , and it is bringing its original musical based on the Laura Numeroff-Felicia Bond book home tonight.

We figured you might want to know what the actors who play Pig and her playmates did on their travels across the country. We sure did!

Here are some highlights.

GALVESTON: The Girl's mother and grandmother threw a party for Pig and her friends with fruit, cheese, chocolate, cookies and hot wings. Then they went to the beach, where Pig got sand in her hooves.

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y.: Pig and her friends met Dog's cousin. Mouse took her first ferry ride. They went to Brooklyn to gobble pizza and sing karaoke. Cat took her first subway ride!

HARTFORD, WIS.: The van got stuck in the snow. Pig put her ham hocks into it by getting out and pushing. Mouse bought a small shovel and salt and started digging. Everyone helped until they got back on the road. Later, because the Girl and Dog have the same birthday, Feb. 8, they went out and feasted on massive cheese logs and a cake with icing balloons.

PADUCAH, KY.: Snow closed the schools on the day of the school performance! Pig and her friends were sad. But then the parents came to the rescue and carpooled the kids to the show.

JACKSONVILLE, FLA.: During the show, Mouse ran into the audience for hide-and-seek. Three little girls, all with red hair, covered Mouse to keep her from being found by Pig and she couldn't get back to the stage. Finally she said, "I have to get back. I have to be safe!" And they let her go.

WEST PALM BEACH, FLA.: Pig, Mouse, Cat and the Girl dressed up as three of the four seasons for a Halloween party. Mouse was winter, the Girl was spring, Pig was fall and Cat was summer. Cat got her very first manicure in Florida, too!

COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO.: After the show, a boy from the audience had a tip on how to improve the show that Moose thought was cool. His idea? "One thousand rocket ships!"

MARSHALL, TEXAS: Everyone went to Pig's parents' place for barbecue and dominoes. Pig's mom fed everyone lots of shrimp. They had a contest to see who could stretch the farthest. Mouse (who used to be a contortionist) won.WHO'S WHO From left: Moose (Paul Logsdon), Pig (Billie Bryant), Mouse (Charlet Dupar), Dog (Rick Spivey), the Girl (Ashley Duplechain) and Cat (Emily Prochaska)Know before you go
