Disc debuts: CDs, DVDs and games in stores Tuesday12:42 PM CDT on Tuesday, March 18, 2008CDs Dame Shirley Bassey, Get the Party Started (Decca) – Enduring diva's first studio album in a decade finds her putting the sassy Bassey stamp on tunes by Pink, Gloria Gaynor, Grace Jones and a handful of showstopping standards. The Bravery, The Sun and the Moon Complete (Island) – New York rockers offer a two-disc set; famed Grammy winner Brendan O'Brien produced the first CD, and the second disc is the same music remixed by Bravery frontman Sam Endicott. Celtic Thunder, Celtic Thunder: The Show (Decca) – The veteran band, which has been around since 1977, takes its musical merger of originals, Irish, Scottish and American ballads, and dance music to the fans in this concert recording. Jesse Cook, Frontiers (Koch) – The Paris-born, Toronto-based Nuevo Flamenco guitarist who incorporates Latin, jazz and world music into his instrumental fusion releases his eighth album. Danity Kane, Welcome to the Dollhouse (Bad Boy) – Female pop-R&B quintet signed to Sean "P. Diddy" Combs' label reveals its sophomore release, the follow-up to 2006's self-titled debut that was an instant success stateside. Daniel Lanois, Here Is What Is (Red Floor Records) – Sixth solo album for the respected singer, songwriter and producer – who is best known for helming discs by U2, Bob Dylan and Emmylou Harris, among others – was recorded in Toronto, Los Angeles and Shreveport, La. New Found Glory, Hits (Geffen) – Pop-punk band from Coral Springs, Fla., compiles tunes from 10 years' worth of previous albums, including three gold-selling projects, for this greatest-hits package. The Sax Pack, The Sax Pack (Shanachie) – Saxophonists Jeff Kashiwa, Kim Waters and Steve Cole unite for an eight-song CD that captures the smooth and sultry R&B vibe of the instrument they play. DVDS I Am Legend – Will Smith end-of-the-world adventure comes with a new ending. Enchanted – Amy Adams and Patrick Dempsey try to live happily ever after. Love in the Time of Cholera – Oscar winner Javier Bardem in an unintentionally funny adaptation of the Gabriel García Márquez classic. Southland Tales – Richard Kelly (Donnie Darko ) continues to explore the end of the world. Will Smith isn't in it, but The Rock is. The Ice Storm – Criterion edition of the Ang Lee suburban angst film. It's a big week for Criterion with two additional releases: the Italian comedy Mafioso and the architecture doc Antonio Gaudi. The Dragon Painter – Restored silent classic starring Japanese great Sessue Hayakawa (The Bridge on the River Kwai). Revolver – Guy Ritchie directs another gangster yarn.
