Kansas City-style barbecue meets creative cheffy dishes meets jazz at this vibrant new place on Maple Avenue. It’s a collaboration among three owners: pitmaster Matt Dallman; his wife, Kimi Dallman; and chef Scott Gottlich of the Second Floor and the erstwhile Bijoux. Though it still feels somewhat like a work in progress, the barbecue is spot-on, and the more elaborate dishes — like barbecue quail with Tokyo turnips and Brussels sprouts — can be very good, too.
