If there’s one thing you should know about Yard House, it’s that the bar has 130 beers on tap. That’s a lot of beer. The chain has existing bars in Houston and San Antonio, but this is Dallas' first. Each one has a glass-enclosed keg room and can hold 5,000 gallons of beer. The restaurant name comes from the way patrons can order beers: by the pint, five-ounce “short,” or 32-ounce half-yard. Patrons can also order a “six pack,” which is a six-beer sampler with short pours of each. Yardhouse's extensive menu is mostly made up of bar food like pizzas and appetizers, but it also includes vegetarian and gluten-sensitive options. Full bar. — Sarah Blaskovich/DallasNews.com
