Executive chef Cody Sharp is turning out some of the jazziest share plates in town at Matt McCallister’s modern Southern place in Deep Ellum. Highlights include deviled shrimp and crab dip, wood-roasted baby carrots and Mississippi Delta tamale with ham-hock pinto beans. From the grill, there are larger platters, including a splendidly succullent (and mammoth!) 21-day dry-aged double-cut Heritage pork chop. The cocktails rock, there’s a fabulous selection of whiskeys and a winning wine list. Desserts are created by Maggie Huff, who’s also pastry chef at sister restaurant FT33. Can’t decide?
