When Uchi opened in Uptown this summer, it was easily Dallas' most anticipated restaurant opening of the year. 

Top Knot

Now it appears we have another big-deal opening to look forward to from Uchi's ownership group. The group announced via a press release today that they're planing a new concept called Top Knot, slated to open right above Uchi in early 2016. Uchi, if you'll recall, received a five-star rating from our Leslie Brenner in August.

According to the release, Uchi's new upstairs neighbor at 2817 Maple will be helmed by executive chef Tyson Cole. Top Knot is described as having "a playful Asian-inspired menu with a full bar and a relaxed atmosphere." Details of the menu aren't available yet, but it will feature shared small plates.
