Do you crave torture in the sun? Sand in your hair?

Are you feeling cast away?

Then there's an opportunity for you on Nov. 4. CBS 11 will hold an open casting call for CBS' long-running Survivor from 2 to 6 p.m. at Sam Pack's Five Star Subaru of Grapevine, 2651 William D. Tate Ave., Grapevine.

Come prepared to "creatively express" why you want to and should be on the show. Prospective applicants must be at least 18 years old and will each record a video that will then be presented to show producers as an audition.

According to a release, producers are looking for certain character traits: "strong-willed, outgoing, adventurous, physically and mentally adept and adaptable to new environments."

My favorite line (warning) in the rules?

"They will actually be responsible for building their own shelter and finding their own food."

Of course, if your personality is all that and you're lacking some of the other stuff, have at it.

What have you got to lose besides weight 'cause obviously snacking is out? #JustSaying

Besides, the prize for trying is an addition to your resume that can't be rescinded. And the prize for winning is $1 million (taxable).
