Updated at 3:16 p.m.: A concert featuring The Voice alum Malik Heard and American Idol alum Haley Elmore has been cancelled.
The duo had been scheduled to sing at a free concert at Dallas' Hard Rock Cafe.
Previously: There are some contestants on reality TV singing competition shows that you're never going to hear from again. There are some you don't want to hear from again.
Malik Heard and Haley Elmore aren't either of those things. Heard was a contestant on NBC's The Voice. Elmore competed on Fox's American Idol.
The singers will come together perform "a special live performance" on Friday at Hard Rock Cafe Dallas, 2211 N. Houston St.
Admission is free to the event that's open to all. The concert is scheduled to start at 8 p.m.
