'Real Housewives of Dallas' announces cast and premiere date

The speculation is over. E! broke the news this morning that The Real Housewives of Dallas will debut Monday, April 11, at 9 p.m. CST on Bravo.

E!'s exclusive preview reveals that Cary Deuber, Tiffany Hendra, Stephanie Hollman, LeeAnne Locken, Brandi Redmond and their friend Marie Reyes will star in the biggest thing to hit Big D TV since J.R. and Sue Ellen or ... perhaps anything, ever.

Dallas' version of this popular TV series reminds producer Andy Cohen of the way 'Housewives' used to be, he said in a November interview.

"It's the way they communicate. It's about how they live their lives, and it's about families,"  Cohen said.

Or with:

We learn that Deuber is a former East Coaster with her own aesthetic injectable practice; Hendra is "veteran actress" with a "troubling past" whose roles include Walker, Texas Ranger and something called 12 Hot Women; Hollman is a "girl next door" from Oklahoma who "makes her own money" and who lets her husband leave lists of chores for her to do while he's away on business; Locken is a former Miss USA competitor and Redmond is a former Dallas Cowboys cheerleader. Reyes, the "friend of housewives," is an RN who is involved in the local charity scene. But, that's just the tip of the bio iceberg -- E! has more about each here.

A source says some of the cast members aren't on speaking terms as a result of something that happened on the show. Juicy!
