On Thursday morning, a data company crowned Taco Bueno America's favorite Mexican fast-food chain. By Thursday afternoon, it was the thing to taco-bout.
We at GuideLive were pretty stoked about the news because Taco Bueno is a local company (albeit based in the not-so-notable foodie suburb of Farmers Branch), and once the news disseminated, we heard from loyalists, otherwise known as BuenoHeads, who live and die by the Mexi dips and chips. But after fielding a wealth of Twitter chatter, there seemed to be equally as many opponents of the chain.
Whether they thought the restaurant was más or menos bueno, the Twitteratti all responded to the news with the intensity of a hangry mama bear loping toward her first post-hibernation meal.
Here's what they were saying...
Everything is right with the world, exclamation point!
This is utter malarkey.
