Hello Kitty food truck is coming to Plano

Stop what you're doing right meow and listen up: A Hello Kitty food truck is coming to North Texas.

Designed with the hugely popular Japanese character in mind, the Hello Kitty Cafe Truck sells sweets such as macarons, mini cakes and cookies, many of which we're assuming are pink, as well as water in bow-shaped bottles.

Fans can get a glimpse Saturday, March 12 when the truck rolls through Plano's Shops at Willow Bend mall.

The Hello Kitty Cafe Truck will be parked outside Crate&Barrel from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.

The truck is Hello Kitty creator Sanrio’s first foray into food service. The vehicle debuted at Hello Kitty Con 2014, which is an entire conference dedicated to the cute feline cartoon, and has since been “spreading happiness, friendship and fun,” in the words of a press release, to fans nationwide.
