I'll admit I got worked up about Meghann Foye's proposed "me-ternity leave." I know the author has since back-pedaled on her statements in an articled about maternity leave, but this lion was ready to roar.

The more I read the article from the New York Post, though, I think it was a set-up and, bless her heart, she didn't mean any harm. But one of these things is not like the other. Acknowledge that! I got so worked up that I couldn't stay in my seat!

TOMMY NOEL

Anyhoo, I belabor that point on this week's podcast, which also includes ex-Speaker of the House John Boehner's running off at the mouth about Ted Cruz; the investigation surrounding the death of Prince; our favorite TV shows, Empire and Underground, both with only two episodes left; and not-so-favorite shows Real Housewives of Dallas and Little Women: L.A. (See if you can pick which one of us dislikes which one.) And Lemonade, both kinds.

And, of course, I plug my writing. Because that's what I do.

Did I mention From the Hip is now available on iTunes? In celebration, press play, two times ...
