You may say we're dreamers, but we're not the only ones. Not by far. The season premiere of "Empire" attracted at least 16 million more fans on Wednesday night. And we watched it four times between us.

Come along as we analyze, tease, cajole and just plain talk about Cookie's outfits; Lucious' lean and mean style; Jamal's new attitude; and some big holes we hope the writers fill up later. (We know they can do it; the fun is in the watching.)

We also watched the season finale of The Haves and the Have Nots, which seemed to just fly by. Cliffhangers for you and you and you. Cliffhangers for everyone!

Oh, and we can't forget, the State Fair is in town and there's so much to say about that. Listen up, y'all 'cause this is it. Press play.

And don't forget the handy, dandy podcast. Right here (see below).
