Frontiers of Flight Museum

The 100,000-square-foot venue, at the southeast side of Love Field Airport just north of downtown Dallas, introduces visitors of all ages to the rich diversity of aviation and flight history. It appeals to visitors of all ages, from a young child to the avid aviation buff. The collection features more than 30 aircraft and space vehicles, including the Apollo 7 command module. - From staff reports
Its ongoing exhibition, Commercial and General Aviation, features an airmail display with artifacts from early airmail service and models of two commonly used airmail aircraft: the deHavilland DH-4 and the Pitcairn Mailwing.
