The Inwood Theatre opened in Dallas in 1947 when the landscape of the theater’s location on Lovers Lane wasn’t much but fields and open spaces. It’s a gem of a theater with an old-school feel and an experience that can’t be found at a corporate theater. Inwood has three auditoriums – the screening lounge downstairs and two other screens upstairs. The screening lounge at Inwood has armchairs, love seats, couches, ottomans and beanbags the size of kids’ swimming pools.
