Are there many things that go better together than BBQ and live music?
This weekend, Big Red brought the first annual Smokin' Blues & BBQ Festival to Armstrong Park in Duncanville, along with killer live music, great food and plenty to do for the family (and the pets!)
Music from Mike Morgan & the Crawl, The Michael Lee Band and more serenaded the crowds with the best of blues as they chomped away at smoked brisket, turkey and more. On top of that, an IBCA sanctioned cook-off had competitors facing off on the smoke circuit, with all funds raised going to Lions Club Charities. Attendees even had a chance to taste test some snacks, sponsored by Kroger.
