Al Green kicks off a rare tour this year, and most of his concerts are in Texas

The iconic R&B musician hasn't toured in seven years, and three of his five concerts will be in Texas.

If you're a Texan and a fan of Al Green, you're in luck. The R&B icon is bringing his hits "Let's Stay Together," "I'm So Tired Of Being Alone," and more to a series of rare concerts in April after not touring in seven years. And three of the five performances will be in Texas.

He kicks it off in Austin on April 24 before heading to Irving on April 26 at 8 p.m. at The Pavilion at Toyota Music Factory. He'll then perform at the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival and then in Sugar Land before finishing the tour in Atlanta.

Tickets for the Irving performance go on sale Friday, Feb. 8 at 10 a.m. at livenation.com.
