Luke Bryan, Sam Hunt and more country musicians coming to Frisco for 2019 festival

After a one-year hiatus, Off the Rails Country Music Fest announced its return to Dallas-Fort Worth with a lineup featuring some of the most popular names in the genre.

Singers Luke Bryan, Sam Hunt, Jake Owen and Luke Combs lead the bill for the two-day event coming to Toyota Stadium in Frisco May 4 and 5, 2019. More than a dozen acts, including Aaron Watson, Eli Young Band, Craig Morgan and Lauren Alaina, were listed in the first wave of announcements alongside the promise of more to come. Tickets to the festival cost $29.75 for single-day entry and go on sale Friday, Nov. 16 via AXS.com.

Started in 2016, Off the Rails quickly established itself as one of the biggest and best events of its kind in North Texas, even if the first festival was rife with logistical issues. The lineup was what solidified its credibility. Past performers include Miranda Lambert, Blake Shelton, Chris Young, and Turnpike Troubadours.

If you're wondering why you haven't heard of the festival recently, that's because it didn't happen this year. In late 2017, we reported that Off the Rails would take a one-year break due to "a lot of traffic in the market," according to AEG marketing manager Ryan Brandon.
