If we were to make a short list of the most famous Dallas-area musicians, Demi Lovato and Don Henley would certainly be on it.

Each of these artists, giants in their genres, are touring through Dallas-Fort Worth in 2018. Here are details:

Demi Lovato: March 7

Demi Lovato / DJ Khaled

Partnering with DJ Khaled and Kehlani, Demi Lovato has announced a tour in February and March 2018. Khaled has worked with nearly every big name in the hip-hop scene: Lil Wayne, Nicki Minaj, Snoop Dogg, Ludacris, Nelly, Drake, Usher, Wiz Khalifa, Kanye West, Kendrick Lamar, 2 Chainz, Busta Rhymes, Beyonce and Jay-Z and more. Lovato, who got her start on Barney & Friends in D-FW, just released her sixth studio album, Tell Me You Love Me, repped by the first single, "Sorry Not Sorry." Lovato was home in North Texas, throwing a house party in July.

The tour stops at the American Airlines Center in Dallas on March 7, 2018. Tickets are on sale now.

The Eagles with special guest Chris Stapleton: June 23

R.I.P. Glenn Frey: Five essential tracks from the late Eagles legend

A performance by Don Henley, Joe Walsh and Timothy B. Schmit of the Eagles might be enough to amass tens of thousands of fans in Dallas-Fort Worth. But joining them on this newly announced North American tour will be country singer Vince Gill and the late Glenn Frey's son Deacon Frey.

And, when the tour touches down at the home of the Dallas Cowboys, AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Chris Stapleton will be the special guest. (At other dates on the tour, Jimmy Buffett and James Taylor are supporting artists instead of Stapleton.)

The concert is June 23 , and tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Dec. 1 via Ticketmaster. American Express card members can buy early, starting 10 a.m. Nov. 28.

2018 is going to be a great year for concerts. Check out the concerts we're most excited about in 2018.
