Fans of British superstar Harry Styles, formerly of the boy band One Direction, likely have Oct. 10 circled on their calendars: That's the date Styles is performing at Irving Music Factory. It sold out quickly.

Flip the calendar to 2018, pop music fans, because Styles is coming back. He performs June 5, 2018 at the American Airlines Center in Dallas.

The last time Harry Styles was in D-FW for a performance was in December 2015, with One Direction, at KISS-FM's annual Jingle Ball.

"Due to overwhelming demand," a press release reads, "Harry Styles has added 56 new show dates in 2018 to his sold-out world tour."

Most artists add a show or two. Maybe five. Styles is adding 56 concerts.

Even better, former Texas woman Kacey Musgraves is opening for Styles' recently-announced U.S. and Canada dates.

(And, note: Fort Worth musician Leon Bridges is also opening some dates for Styles. But those are in South America and Mexico, not the U.S.)

Tickets for the June 5, 2018 concert go on sale Friday, June 16, 2017. That's basically a year in advance. Styles' website will eventually list the time that fans can try to purchase tickets; that information wasn't immediately available.

Styles' June 5, 2018 date is his first new concert date in 2018 in the United States. After hitting Dallas in June 2018, Styles will land in Houston, Fort Lauderdale, Atlanta and more. He's out touring on his album Harry Styles, led by the "Sign of the Times" single.
